Letter to our Community

Letter to our Community

On the First Day of Spring and at this time of extraordinary uncertainty, we are especially grateful for those of you who have expressed support of our local businesses.
We wanted to let you know what we are doing out of concern for the health and well being of our staff, customers and community. Please be assured, we are continually assessing the situation so we take the best precautions. In light of that, the decisions we make now may change in the future and we will keep you up-to-date via social media.
As of today, we are maintaining our regular store hours. We are also available by appointment.

Here are some steps we have taken thus far:

-We have incorporated cleaning and sanitation practices a minimum of 3 times daily.

-We are limiting the number of people in the store to under 10 people at one time (counting our staff). If you know what you want, call ahead to make sure we have it in stock. We can get your order ready for you in advance.

-Our staff is practicing 10 ft. social distancing as is feasible.

-We have initiated curbside pick-up.

-We have announced local delivery in the downtown area at no additional charge.

-We have suspended our beverage service at the tea bar, with the exception of Kombucha on tap.

-We are not refilling customer cups, growlers or other containers.

-We are selling bulk tea but not refilling containers brought from home.

-We have removed all products used for sampling from the Tea Bar, Cosmetic and Personal Care sections.

-We are not accepting donations of gently used bags for reuse.

-Our restroom is limited to use by staff only.

-We would prefer payment by credit card instead of cash

Our hope is that we can continue to serve you by providing essentials for daily living although you may notice some of your favorites could be temporarily out-of-stock.

We are practicing concern but trying not to worry about what is out of our control. Support your immune system so you lower the risk of becoming ill. Take care of your personal health. Eat well, exercise, get outdoors, take steps to lower your stress and get plenty of rest. Be kind to one another.

Can’t say it enough: Our customers are the best! We thank you in advance for your understanding as we weather this uncharted territory together.
