The Green Corner Store

Our Story

With a background in retail, education and public relations, Shelley Green decided to open a store dedicated to showcasing healthy and sustainable goods.  She envisioned a place that would be a trusted, local resource for eco-conscious consumers.

After working with committed individuals and non-profit organizations who were trying to protect, preserve and renew natural resources, Green became an advocate for the connection between our personal health and the wellbeing of the planet. Every day we come into contact with hundreds of chemicals that are either known to be harmful to our health or suspected to be detrimental to our well-being.  Although we can’t completely insulate ourselves from many environmental pollutants, there are better grooming products, home cleaning products and natural healing remedies that can reduce that exposure. She knew from her own personal health journey towards optimum wellbeing what a difference that made.  She wanted to introduce others to these non-toxic, effective products that she discovered.

Solutions to environmental issues can many times seem too complex to fully comprehend – and on a scale that seems like one person can’t make a difference. But as more people make changes in their daily lives at home, school and workplace, it will not only be better for them; it will also have a positive effect on our planet.
